Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and performer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. She is, however, musician. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It's something she was experimenting with since she was nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough to warrant professional training. As a teenager when she began writing her own music. Her first cover album didn't come out until fourteen years later. It hasn't turned to the past since. Orrantia was born in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, despite using English only, and did not live in Mexico. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs that incorporate the Spanish language. She recorded an Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was picked to perform for the first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of the X Factor after she submitted an YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her the four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other women singers and she were put together to audition for the remaining music. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
