Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, writer and actress. Her first appearance was on television shows like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before launching her film debut as Allyson Nelson in the horror film series Halloween and the sequels.
