Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage performer in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In the same calendar year she released her first musical album, The album is Tina Time. Her first appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her career between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
