David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and animated movements has grown to become the most watched news show in America. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his previous anchor Diane Sawyer. He reported on many morning ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. His travels took him to the far corners of the earth, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, in addition to distinctions from the Associated Press.
