Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model as well as an animal rights activist in America. Her work has received acclaim by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to pursue a career in art. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was deemed the most successful female film in the history of box offices. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
